Freedom Encounters
Freedom Encounters of Spruce Grove
Have you ever felt that the source of your trials and suffering was out of this world? Some of it is. Describing Satan as a thief, Jesus said this: “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full”. - John 10:10.
No Christian Church should be obsessed with the devil. In fact the Bible tells us we should think on those things which are true, honourable, just, pure, lovely, commendable and praiseworthy (Philippians 4:8). At the same time the Bible also tells us we should be sober, and vigilant, for our adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8).
At Christian Fellowship Church we take that seriously by providing a Biblical sound, exceptionally thorough, yet extremely gentle approach to deliverance ministry. Freedom Encounters was pioneered by Ken and Sylvia Thornberg of Boise, Idaho. Using their God given approach, we regularly see people freed from demonic bondage, healed and come to the realization of what God has called and gifted them to do with their lives. Our teams include people not only from our church but from those who have felt called by God to be a part of this ministry regardless of denominational affiliation.
